  古伝空手、近代空手、現代空手のいずれにおいても、修行中の方もしくは修行を考えている方に有用な書籍です。あらゆる局面で、修行にプラスとなるヒントが満載です。空手に限って言えば、ここまでの(高)レベルの教則本は滅多にないと断言できます。プレミアムのついた古書を購入可能な人のみが本書を独占しているこの現状は、明らかに不公平かつ空手界全体にとってマイナスであると断じざるを得ません。 (2019/02/25)

  I would like to see Toyama sensei's book reprinted because I am a student of Kei Shin Kan, which he started. I believe this book would be valuable to, not only students of Kei Shin Kan and Shudokan, but also to serious karate students everywhere. (2006/06/09)

  I currently train in the Shudokan style at Sensei Holman's dojo in Sammamish, WA. I would like to learn more about style and about Kanken Toyama. To this point in my studies I have only been able to learn what other's have said about him. It would be tremendous to actually read some thing that Sensei Toyama has written himself. (2004/10/07)

  Toyama Sensei is an intergal part of our Traditional Karate History. He was the only one authorized by the Emperer to promote any individual from any style.
  
  His insight into Martial Arts was incredible, he more than tolerated other stylist, he welcomed a diverse karate; as emphasized by the Shudokan marrige of Shurite-te, Naha-te and Chineese White Crane Kung-Fu.

  I currently hold the rank of Sho Dan. I would like a written document of the history of the style that I practice. It is important to be able to know and understand the past of my style of Karate.   Kanken Toyama is the founder of Shudokan the martial arts style in which I train. I am very interested in the history of martial arts and specifically interested in Shudokan and Kanken Toyama. I would love to own a copy of his book Karate-Do Dai Hokan. (2004/06/18)
