Toyama Sensei is an intergal part of our Traditional Karate History. He was the only one authorized by the Emperer to promote any individual from any style.
His insight into Martial Arts was incredible, he more than tolerated other stylist, he welcomed a diverse karate; as emphasized by the Shudokan marrige of Shurite-te, Naha-te and Chineese White Crane Kung-Fu.
