Toyama was always popular but never famous. This was all by choice. But he was too talented and well informed to let his writings be lost to history. We must keep his spirit alive by speaking of him and learning from what he left behind.

Intressed in the information in this book. Toyama Sensei's work should be reprinted for all his students of his style.

I currently train in the Shudokan style at Sensei Holman's dojo in Sammamish, WA. I would like to learn more about style and about Kanken Toyama. To this point in my studies I have only been able to learn what other's have said about him. It would be tremendous to actually read some thing that Sensei Toyama has written himself.

Toyama Shihandai was a true Bushi, who cared more about the integrity of Karatedo than about becoming famous. Unfortunately, this has led to a great man being almost forgotten. Please reprint the book, also in English. Thank you.

空手の本は沢山発刊されていますが玉石混淆で、数少ない本物の本が埋もれてしまっているのは残念でたまりません。現在、武道愛好家は本物を求めています。その求めに応えられる本なので、ニーズは十分あると思います。

I would like to see Toyama sensei's book reprinted because I am a student of Kei Shin Kan, which he started. I believe this book would be valuable to, not only students of Kei Shin Kan and Shudokan, but also to serious karate students everywhere.
